There may be no sight greater in tennis than the precisely manicured grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon.

It is pristine, free of sponsorship logos, and provides a unique challenge to competitors in the majors as the only Grand Slam still played on grass.

From any of the 15,000 seats at Wimbledon, you can look over to the Royal Box and see dignitaries and members of the Royal Family taking in The Championships. Wimbledon is, undoubtedly, a required pilgrimage for any tennis fan or player.

Whether you’re looking to reserve your place on Centre Court, or simply after a taste of Wimbledon’s traditions, Keith Prowse Travel offers packages to make your Wimbledon experience truly memorable.

View Practice Sessions

While you are in the northern area of the Grounds, you can view players practicing on the Aorangi Park courts. The area is busy with players hitting balls, stretching or just hanging out. This concealed gem allows you to get up close to players in a more relaxed setting.

Fanzone

At the Fanzone, there is an opportunity to meet your favourite players in person at the Fanzone located just outside Aorangi Pavilion in the north of the Grounds. Every day one or two players visit the booth to meet fans and sign autographs.

Strawberries-Cream

Strawberries and Cream

Strawberries and cream is an essential part of the Wimbledon tournament and the typical food of choice for visitors to the All England Club. It’s a tradition that began at the Wimbledon tournament and has become emblematic of the Championship itself. Every year, Wimbledon tennis fans consume up to 33,000 kg of English strawberries, accompanied by over 10,000 litres of cream!

Afternoon Tea

When visiting London, no trip would be complete without indulging in the English institution of afternoon tea. The tradition started when the Duchess of Bedford found herself peckish whilst waiting for dinner and asked her servants to sneak her slices of bread in addition to hot cups of tea. Nowadays, the experience has become a fashionable ritual with traditional and quirkier options available to keep your hunger at bay.

Westminster-Abbey-600x347

Westminster Abbey

Located in the heart of London, next to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, this wonderful 700-year-old building is a living pageant of British history. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, the interior of this magnificent church is of incomparable beauty and splendour.

Hyde-Park

Hyde Park

Covering an area of 350 acres, Hyde Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks. Throughout the year, there is plenty to see and do at Hyde Park. Watch the swans and boats glide over the tranquil Serpentine Lake, visit the Diana Memorial Fountain or stop by the Speaker’s Corner to hear London’s most vocal orators share their opinions with the world.
